LTR Waste Mini Skip Hire
Midi skips are one of the most popular skips hired by domestic customers for waste removal in Nottingham, Derby and Ilkeston. These skips are larger than the baby skips, and come in two different sizes; 4 yard skip and 6 yard skip.
Due to their size, these midi skips are perfect for disposing of moderate amounts of domestic waste. They are mostly used in domestic jobs such as shed and garage clear outs, large garden clean ups and other home improvement projects.
Our skips can easily fit on any driveway making waste removal very easy and convenient. What’s more with our charity donation policy, you will also be helping the little babies of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
The Three Skip Sizes We Offer:
There are three sizes of skips offered by LTR Waste: Our 4 yard baby skip, our 6 yard skip and the 8 yard skip.
For more information on the waste types we take and the availability of our skip hire please call 0115 7722544. Remember think ahead, these skips are very popular due to our fantastic prices and have to be booked in advance.
Know the Size You Need
One of the most important things to do before you hire a skip is to work out the size you need. There are several sizes to consider. Smaller skips are cheaper, but be cautious about ordering a skip that is too small. If stuck inbetween sizes, we recommend that you go for the larger option. This is because if you overfill your skip, we will not be able to collect it. Ordering one slightly larger skip is always preferrable to needing two small skips!
Avoid Restricted Items
If you don’t want to face additional fines and fees, avoid putting restricted items into your skip, even if you’re tempted to hide them amongst other things. Waste disposal sites will go through all the waste products and will soon flag up any items that aren’t supposed to be there.
Commonly banned items include car and lorry tyres, fridge freezers, computer monitors and television screens, asbestos, paint cans, plaster board, sofas and mattresses, liquids and chemicals.
If you have these items we will take them but there will be an additional charge.
